Við náðum tali af Björk rétt áður en hún hélt vestur um haf.
(We had a interview with Björk just before she went to the States.)
- Hvernig finnst þér að hafa verið að spila núna í fyrsta sinn á Íslandi í langan tíma?
(How did you like to play now in Iceland for the first time after a long time?)
- Já, þetta var svona bara mjög mínimalt við komum með nokkra hluti með okkur.
Já það var svona - bilað allt á sviðinu sem gat bilað.
(Yes, it was very minimalist, we took only few things with us.
Yes, it was like – everything was broken on the stage which could broke.)
- En af hverju ákvaðstu að spila hér á Kirkjubæjarklaustri?
(But why did you decided to play here in Kirkjubæjarklaustur?)

- Afhverju ákvaðstu að spila hérna á Uxanum?
(Why did you dediced to play here in Uxanum?)
- Af því að mig langaði að koma til Íslands.
(Because I wanted so much to come to Iceland.)
- En ætlarðu að halda tónleika hér í bráð?
(Are you going to play a concert here in the near future?)
-Já ég ætla að halda almennilega tónleika, með þá öllu mínum tækjum og öllu mínu fólki.
Sem að þá þau þurfa náttúrulega að voðalega mikið- ekki það að mitt fólk sé eitthvað betra, heldur er það spurning um –bara- samvinnu og fólkið”tjúnað” saman.
(Yes, I am going to make a really good concert with all my things and all my people.
Which they need obviously very much – my people are not better but it is a question about teamwork and the people tune together.)
-Er þetta góð stemning hérna?
(Is it a good atmosphere here?)
- Já mjög góð stemning.
(Yes, very nice atmosphere)
- En þú hefur fundið eftirvæntinguna í loftinu?
(But did you feel the expectation in the air?)
- Já þetta var svolítið eins og að labba inn í gamla mynd.
(Yes, it was a little bit like going back to an old movie)
-Var gaman þrátt fyrir allt?
(Even though you had a lot of problems you enjoy it?)
- Já það var æðislegt að koma til Íslands og flugið var rosalega
fallegt og ég sá alla eyjuna út um gluggann og mjög flott.
(Yes, it was great to come back to Iceland and the flight was very beautiful and I saw the entire island through the window and was so cool.)
- Og þú tekur undir með syni þínum og hann sagði okkur áðan að þetta væri besta land í heimi?
(And you accept what your son said to us before that this is the best country in the world?)
- Já já!
(Yes, yes!)
